3.00pm - reach home & prepare stuff for bible study........

Sunny day in Birmingham

It was really really really "the hot". This it the first time i experience
the "heat" in Birmingham.... i feel good!!!

Meet with Mary Ma

Venue: Jill's house
Although i do not know Mary Ma, i still go to Jill's house to meet
up with her. Heard about her story from Jill and really want to
meet her. I was truly encouraged by her testimony. I believe
that God is with her while she was at the deepest valley
of her life. Her sharing reminded me of something which
is important in my life.
"You will know how real is our God when you are facing
difficulties in yout life. You may leave God when you
are successful or you have everything you want. But once
you are facing problems, now you see God........"
May God bless you abundantly in your career & family.....

Dinner at Li Qiang's house

Wow... another blessing... being invited to Li Qiang's house for dinner.
It's great to have time to talk to Li Qiang & Yuan Chen. They are our
church's spiritual leader. We could hardly have chance talk to them
as they are always busy welcoming new comers, give counselling
and pray for those who need encouragements in the church.
Of course, Nelson & I are busy too..... Busy with children.... haha
So, it's great to have more time to sit down and talk to them......

Dinner with Wu & Yan's family

It was lovely to have Yan & Wu's family to our house for dinner.
We had great time of chit chatting. 3 groups of people talked
about different topics, the guys talked about history, the
ladies talked about children, shopping, etc, 2 children
made a lot of noise with toys...... haha....

I really do not know what's the name of this place.... it is located near to
the Birmingham Chinese Evangelical Church. We never been to that place
before. Since the weather was good on Sunday, we went for a walk there...
There are a lot of messages about "peace" from many countries and faiths.

Dinner at Steven & Chang Hong's new house

Busy Sunday.....

Venue: Say Tuan's house
After Richard's baptism, we went to Jill's house for lunch. We met some
friends (Maxwell from Malawi & Susie from Canada)..... After the lunch,
we drove to Worster to visit Say Tuan & wife (oooh no... i still
don't know how to spell her name... so many "n" and "g"....
sorry for that). We had a great time at their house......They cooked
us lovely dinner..... i must say that fried chicken and "zhu jiao chu"
are really really delicious..... The "zhu jiao chu" makes me think of
my mom...... i really miss my mom's cooking.......

to be baptised.......Although "someone" tried to deceive you
in the past.... Jesus said, I'm the way, the truth and the the life.....
the truth has set you free from all the lies........ We are really happy for
you, Richard......We will continue to pray for you so that you will
grow in the Lord......
