It's public holiday, we did not have to work... So, we went for yam cha...
the dim sum are not nice....no wonder Nelson's face was like that...

JKR Colourful Night

Some of the staffs in Gammerlite Sdn.Bhd were invited to JKR Colourful
Night.It was stated in the ticket that we must wear smart and colourful.
So, when Nelsonwent to Penang i purposely asked him to dig out my
rainbow colour top from mywardrobe. I thought if we wear something
colourful we might get some gifts....but... apa pun tak ada at the end
of the day.....haha... But we enjoyed the foodand performances.

Another open house

Date: 11th October 2009
Venue: Nelson's boss house

After the Sunday Service, my father in law brought us to an open house
to makan-makan..... Aiyo... very the pai seh.... because i do not even
know who the tuan rumah is..... i just went there to eat.....

The tuan rumah is a Malay and he served a lot of Malay food, such as
rendang beef, rendang chicken, lemang, laksa, etc....And among all,
i like the bisuits the best.....other people just tried 1 or 2 pieces...
but i took a plate and put one each in my plate. So my plate was
full with all kind of bisuits... haha... greedy......

Birmingham International Food Fair 2009

Venue: Birmingham Victoria Square & New Street

After the Harborne Carnival, We went to the city centre. We thought of
just hang around in the city centre until it's time to go to the church.
Suddenly we discovered the International Food Fair at the Victoria Square.
I felt very excited about it. I just been to a biggest Carnival and now
another fair. We visited the stalls and the food are too expensive
to buy.

Harborner Carnival 2009

Date: 28th June 2009
Venue: Harborne High Street

This was the annual Harborne Carnival. I heard from Jill this was one of the
biggest carnival in Europe. The whole Harborne High Street was blocked.
We went there at about 12.30pm and it was so crowded and so hot.
We just been there for about 30 minutes as we wanted to rush to
BCEC for Sunday Service in the afternoon.

Rick Warren's prayer at Obama's inauguration

I was working in the kids club and my manager on the TV yesterday as
she wanted to watch the 44th US president's inauguration.

I have heard from Gill during the bible study that Obama invited
Rick Warren to do the opening prayer in his inauguration. I was
so touched when i heard the prayer.... i nearly shed my tears when
i joined in and listened to the prayer....I did not know why...
I know God loves us so much.... Let us pray for the new president.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, [and] giving of thanks be made for all men
for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
1 Timothy 2:1-2

Family day at Monsopiad Cultural Village

After Sunday Service, Nelson's dad brought us to Monsopiad Cultural
Village to attend his company's family day.

Sing For All

Date: 20th July 2008
Venue: Symphony Hall, Birmingham

Before the Sunday service, Lingsi's mom approached us and invite
us to a musical concert which will be held at Symphony Hall. According
to her, Lingsi will be performed in that concert. We were blessed to have
free admission to that concert. hehehe..... Thanks Lingsi!!!!!!!!!
