Thanks to Roger who recommended us a new place for dinner.
I like the ducky roll very much... and the duck soup is also
very nice. The colour of the soup is not really attractive
but the taste is very nice.....

Penang food at Lido Square, KK

I was very happy to see lots of Penang food in KK. I need to express
my feeling here that it's quite difficult for me to accept the food in KK
when you had been living and eating Penang food for the past 27
years............ hahah.......I must also say that Lido Square has the
best Hokkien Mee in KK. I had been searching high and low for
Hokkien Mee in KK but could not find one which really suit my
appetite..... haha.....

Steamboat.... in KK

Long time do not go for steamboat already....So, we went to have a
buffet style steamboat dinner at Yun Man steamboat restaurant. I think
this is the cheapest buffet steamboat that we can get in KK (it's RM20
for adult and RM10 for children.)

However, We agree that Xuan steamboat in Penang offers best range
of food. Nelson likes the chicken feet the best while Joyce likes the
stir fried seafood and ice cream the best.

Breakfast at Jalan Pasar

Saw the Ah Xian's TV programme about food in KK. He recommended
the Ah Pom. I listened to the interviews and found out that most
of them people spoke Hokkien. So, i doubt that place is in Penang.
I quickly called my mom and she was also watching the programme.
She said must bring us there when we were back to Penang during CNY.

So, with the die die must go & die die must eat spirit (Created by TY)....
we went there and we needed to wait for 1 hour before we could taste
the freshly made Ah Pom. It is really tasty.... like what was recommended
in the programme.......

Dinner with Roger before CNY

It's Friday again.... it's time to meet with Roger again....
Since it's almost Chinese New Year, let's go for good food.....
We brought Roger to Luyang Restaurant for dinner and this restaurant
is famous for the Chilli Crab.... it's really tasty........come and try if you
like to eat Chilli Crab

We did not have meat for almost one week (for healthy purpose)...
So, we decided to go for western food.....I fancy fish and chips
while Nelson is lamb chop lover.

Dinner at Secret Recipe

We had dinner at Secret Recipe after the talk. It was an enjoyable
and relaxing dinner. Sometimes, life is too busy here..... and we
often do not have time to sit down properly to have a nice chat
together as husband and wife...... it was really a precious time where
we sat there, we ate and we talked and we shared our thoughts........


I buat pandai wanted to take picture with the cake,
suddenly the cake just dropped..... Nelson managed
to capture this funny picture........

Roti Canai & Mee Goreng

Venue: Anak Mami Malay food

I miss roti canai a lot.... i have not eaten roti canai for about 2 months...
tak boleh tahan dee.... So, i asked my hubby to bring me to
mamak stall for roti canai.... His colleagues recommeded him
this mamak stall....We have been here once to try the nasi briyani
and rendang beef.... it tasted good....

However...... something bad happened...........When Nelson almost
finished eating the mee goreng, he discovered "something"
which made him shouted in the mamak stall.........He saw a DEAD FLY
in the mee goreng....He nearly vomitted.....We quickly asked
the waiter to come.... His attitude was terrible.... he tak apa tak apa
like that...He brought the mee to the kitchen and did not come back
to us to apologize or what..... He just walked here and there and pretended
nothing have happened...... And when we asked for bill, he even asked
us to pay for the mee goreng... Wow.... really frustrated..... We asked
the boss to come and finally the boss agreed.

We won't go back to this mamak stall again.......
Again... the waiters' attitude in UK and Malaysia are really different.... haha



The Mee goreng looks nice but "something" is inside it....

Nelson's ex-classmate asked us for dinner. Face to Face Noodle
Restaurant is a new restaurant, so we thought we should
give it a try..... Personally, i feel that the La-Mian is
good and the soup also taste good. There are quite a lot
of variety of La-Mian... fat one, thin one also have...haha....

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

wow... it's already 2 years we got married... time really flies...
I remembered once we talked about years of marriage with my
UK's colleagues.... One of them said she has got married for about
32 years, the other one said she has got married for about 35 years...
when they asked me.... they laughed at me as i said it will only
be my second year in September 2009..... they said....
"dear Joyce, it is still long way to go.....haha"......

Thank God for His guidance and protection that we can be together
for 2 years....

Em... seems that my mom kena "Little Nyonya"'s poison....
she said we must try some nyonya food since now people
talk about Nyonya things.... adui!!!!

My mom thought that place is on Lorong Selamat.... we drove
here and there round Lorong Selamat.... but we could not find
the place... we rang Ger Fong but she did not pick up the phone....
wow... panic loh.... finally we only realized that it's on
Abu Siti Lane....hahah....

Dinner at 龙的传人

Everytime when my hubby and i come back to Penang, my mom sure
will bring us to 龙的传人 for meals....and TY the great started to sing
王立宏's song <<龙的传人>> before we went for dinner.....haha.... she's
so cute....

My parents ordered so many side dishes.... we ate until our stomach buncit....
