Bye bye UK......Journey back to Malaysia

Date: 27th July 2009 (UK time)
Venue: Digbeth Coach Station & Heathrow Airport, UK

After Sunday Service at Selly Oak Elim, Peter Song sent us to the coach station.
We were super hungry at that time. However, we were very grateful to Wendy
as she prepared 2 "rice burgers" for us to take away before we left her house
in the morning for the church.

After about 2 hours journey with coach, finally we arrived at
Heathrow Airport. We waited for another 2 hours before we could
continue our journey to Beijing. Again.... Nelson was hungry....
So, we bought a chicken & mushroom pie..... but.......

On the plane again..... Flying to Beijing....


Date: 27th July 2009 (Beijing time)
Venue: Beijing International Airport

The journey from UK to Beijing was not really pleasant. The plane
was shaky and it was scary sitting in this type of plane. However, we
reached Beijing safely.

Wow.... because of the H1N1, all the tourists entering Beijing have to
go through the temperature scanned gate. If they detect you are having
high temperature, they will immediately ask you to go to aside and
doctors and nurses who standby at the side will immediately check your
body temperature again to confirm everything. Wow... they are really strict.
All the staffs at the airport wear face masks.

After waited for another few hours, we continued our journey
to Malaysia.

Venue: Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Finally, after 8 hours flight, we reached our home land, Malaysia.....
We were overwhelmed to see the Malay words "Selamat Pulang".....
By reaching KL, it ended our story in UK and it start the new chapter of story
about us in Malaysia...........................

The last day at 256

Date: 24th July 2009
Venue: our home

Important day of our life!!! It was the last day of our stay in
256 Alwold Road. We have been staying in this house for 1 year
and 7 months. It was very sad for us to leave that house. Although
it was a small house, it has been a place where we blessed many people
by inviting them for dinner and offered them a place to stay when
they were in Birmingham.

Our landlords, Terry & Pauline are a nice couple. They did not give us
any troubles like what other landlord did to my friends. In the past,
Terry did his best to fix the things in the house and he made sure that
we stayed comfortably in that house. They complimented
and thanked us for taking good care of his house and he returned all
our deposit without inspecting the house. Wow... Praise the Lord!!!!!

256 Alwold Road, we are going to miss you and we will definitely miss
you when we are back to Malaysia. Hope that thise house can continue
to be a place to bless other people.

Em... after about 1 year and 8 months staying in this house,
it's time for us to move.... where will us be? haha.... it will be
revealed soon in TTJoyce's blog.......

We have taken down all the pictures off the wall..... so, before
we did it, we took a photo as memory.... haha.....

Rearrange furniture on May Day

Date: 5th May 2008
Venue: our home

It's bank holiday and both of us did not have to work. So, we planned to
rearrange our furniture and redecorate our living room & guest room.
We had dismantled the bed in the guest room, hang our graduation
photos on the wall, rearranged the books, cleared the store room and etc.
We started at around 3pm and finished at around 6pm.
We were really exhausted........Finally we sent all the papers,
and old clothes for recycle....................

Date: 1st May 2008

Our landlord will be coming over to "pay us a visit" on Saturday.

She has reminded us to mow the lawn during her last visit. So, we

have to get it done before Saturday..... (last minute work.... hehe)

Nelson came back earlier to mow the lawn and i tell you, it's

a difficult task........Thanks to my dear for his hard work.

Decorate our house

Date: 19th April 2008

We just got to know that we will continue our contract with the landlord.

With this, Nelson would like to rearrange the furniture to suit our

purpose and to maximise space usage. Nelson had done the major

cleaning and redecoration. Thanks dear.....................

Busy with cleaning & decorating house

Date: 12th - 13rd Nov 2007

Oh...... these were busy days for me.......as i need to clean and "decorate"
the house. From the kitchen to living room and from living room to bedrooms
and of course the toilet. Wah!!! a lot of works to be done.....

After 2 days of cleaning & decorating, this is how our house looks like.....
