Shogun..... we banned this restaurant

Date: 30th May 2008
Venue: Shogun Sushi / Noodle Bar
27-29 Wharfside Street
The Mail BoxBirmingham B1 1RD

We haven't really celebrated since i got my first pay. So, we have decided
to have dinner at Shogun Sushi / Noodle Bar. I suggested to try the
"all you can eat" Sushi Buffet for £10 per head.

When we reached the restaurant, we were greeted by a lady dressed in
Kimono but the problem is she is not Japanese and neither is she British.
Her attitude is not really good. Later only we found out that she is actually
Indonesian and all of the waitresses & chefs are Indonesian.

Displayed in front of us on the conveyer belt are a lot of sushi. The sushi
did not impress us due to the way they were wrapped. I can say that they
were "huge" pieces of sushi. The worst thing was the chef even served the
front and end part of the sushi.

We have been sitting there for almost half an hour and nothing new came
onto the conveyer belt. It were all sushi. After half an hour, a new dish
appeared, guess what, it was fried vege (brocolli, cauliflower, carrot & onion).
Then, they served sweet & sour fish. Later, they served fried aubergine.
HUH??? What are all these?? These are chinese food, aren't they????
We almost fainted when they served fried "kuey tiao"..... really OOHHH NO!!!!
We were really disppointed with the selection that they served. So, we have
decided to ban this restaurant.
