Half day trip in Birmingham

Date: 18th July 2009
Venue: Birmingham University & City Centre

We were grateful to have Bobby (Nelson's Inti ex-roomate),
Bob & Esther came all the way from Bradford to just bid us farewell.
We were very touched. They reached Birmingham at about 11pm.
At that time, we were just back from cell group. Wow... hectic night...

We chit chat all the way until about 2pm then went to sleep. After
4 hours sleep, we woke up and quickly had breakfast. Then, we set
off to Birmingham University. It was their first time visiting the uni
(haha.. if i'm not mistaken.... hehe), so Bobby (the newly trained
professional photographer) was very busy with the camera, trying
to capture the scene as much as possible.

After visiting the university, we went to the city centre. I brought them
to the canal through the short cut path which Liping showed me before.
Nelson was also surprised as he did not know about this path even he has
been in Birmingham for nearly 5 years.... haha.....

While we were walking along the canal, we received sms
from Ngiik Yan that she has arrived in Birmingham.....Wow....
She came all the way from Scotland to bid us farewell.....
So, now we had to find a place to meet her. Finally, we decided
to meet her near the "bull" in front of Bull Ring Shopping Mall.
We were very happy to see her. Time just flied and it was time
for lunch, so went to Chung Ying Garden Chinese Restaurant for
lunch.

After lunch, Bobby, Bob and Esther had to dash back to Bradford.
It was great to meet up with them before we go back to Malaysia.
They are the brothers & sisters who we met in Ruman Nilai Methodist.
