Vivian Road Pre-School Graduation Day

Date: 16th July 2009
Venue: Vivian Road Pre-School

After one year, the school terms has come to an end. Again, it's time
for the children who will be going to "big school" (primary school)
to have their graduation. The children in UK will have their Summer

Holiday in July every year and start their new school year in September.

There were 18 graduants this year and lots of parents came to witness
the important event of their children.

The parents arrived at about 10am and they were welcomed by
the children. Then, the parents sat down to watch their children
play in various stations for about 15 minutes. I was in charge of
computer station, so i have to set up the games and guide the
children while they were playing. After that, the children gathered
for song performance. Children from different groups performed
songs which they have learnt. The parents were also encouraged
to join the children in singing...... haha......
After the performances, Sheila read them a story which was
about a dinasour who wanted to look for volcano. After the story,
Sheila (the Science Whizz) did an experiment about volcano.
It was a successful experiment !!!!

After sitting for so long, the children got a chance to stand up for
physical. All the staffs were also required to dance and hop with
the children in front of the parents. It was so embarassing !!!!!
It was followed by a break time after the physical. The children
were served with drinks and biscuits. After the break, it was time
for the children to receive their graduation certificate.........
The Graduation day ended with a farewell song sang by all the children.

Again, due to the Child Protection Law in UK, i'm not able to
post to many photos which will expose the children's faces.

Pianist of the day - Joyce

Every staff has their own "label"......mine was
"Computer Whizz". Normally i am the one who
in charge in everything related to computer.
