Dinner with Steven & Chang Hong at Malaysian Delight

Date: 15th Dec 2007
Venue: Malaysian Delight restaurant

After Huo Quan cell group, we headed Malaysian Delight for our dinner.
We were very glad to have Steven treated us a dinner........hehehehe.....

Address of Malaysian Delight:
Unit 2 Kotwall House, 8 Ladywell Walk, Birmingham

In Malaysian delight, you will have chances to taste most of the Malaysian food.
Below are some of the comments about the food available in Malaysian Delight
which can be found on the internet:

Comment 1:
Went to this lovely Malaysian restaurant today with my fiancee and my dad.
I've been a Chef for about 12 years now, back home in Malaysia and in
Newcastle,UK. I've travelled to many continents, and also have been a good food
critic. So far, besides M'sia, this restaurant has satisfied us with all of the chef's
recommendation such as the famous butter prawns, deep fried assam seabass,
sizzling egg tofu and kangkong belacan... Hats off to the chef's and to Ms Kit.
Though the atmosphere is a bit small, its typical malaysian deco managed to
make us feel warm and happy. The price of each ala'carte dish is reasonable.
Good portion size, quick service, accurate seasoning thus enhances good taste.
Well presented.

Comment 2:
Always packed out, buzzing little place. Food reminds me of Malaysia, a little
on the salty side but good strong flavours. Many dishes to choose from,
can return on weekly basis!! Highly recommend this place.

Comment 3:
My Malaysian friends and I think that the food and service here are
consistently good. The dishes are exactly what we expect to get back home.
Highly recommended for a feel of authentic Malaysian cuisine.
The only problem is the relatively small space which means a wait during
peak periods.

So, if you are a Malaysian in Birmingham and dying for authentic
Malaysian cuisine, this is the place that you should go.......
